Surprise Science: POLYMERS!

As I've mentioned before, every Friday morning the first and second grades split into groups and rotate around to every first and second grade teacher to do a different science experiment every Friday morning for five weeks. Last rotation, we did "Glowing Germs", this rotation is "Bouncing Balls"! With an introductory knowledge of matter and polymers, along with warm water, Elmer's glue, Borax, cornstarch, and food coloring (for fun), the first and second graders each made their own bouncing ball! Here are some of our kiddos and their creations:
