Wrapping Up Unit 6
OVER THE MOON excited about room 8's unit 6 assessment scores!!! It was a struggle for all of us. It was my first unit completely solo and it was an introduction to a lot of new and tricky topics for the second graders like multiplication and division. The last couple weeks have been a productive learning experience for all of us, to say the least!! They all worked so hard, especially those students that don't particularly like math or who usually struggle. I am so proud of my kiddos! Completely ecstatic with their progress and the evidence of learning that they represented through their work and thought processes on their math exams today! I could gush all day. (And I probably will.)

Congratulations, Alyssa! You're clearly in the right field. :-)
ReplyDeleteI can hear the excitement in your writing! Congratulations to you and your second graders! You must be so proud of them and yourself! Gush away! I know if I were able to teach a single person multiplication I would gush!
