As the afternoon continued, room 8 discovered what they can do in 100 seconds. After figuring out that 100 seconds was 1 minute and 40 seconds, they soon realized that they can do quite a lot in that amount of time. We did activities like how many times they could write their name, how many jumping jacks, how high they could count in their heads, how many times they can clap their hands, how many hops on one foot, and how many different words they could write...all in 100 second intervals. Needless to say they were completely wiped out by the end of the afternoon and we didn't even get to finish all of the bottle riddles or other activities we had planned! I guess that's what we'll be doing this afternoon! :)
